Hey All

I installed gcc 2.95.3 on our 4.0F box and it works for a lot of things
but when trying to compile omniorb I get this:

ld -shared -soname libomnithread.so.3 -set_version libomnithread.so.3 -o
shared/libomnithread.so.3.0 -L../../../lib -L../../../lib shared/posix.o
-lmach -lc_r -lcxxstd -lcxx -lexc -lots -lc
ld:
Can't locate file for: -lcxxstd

I then went looking for libcxxstd.a and it ain't there.

Anyone seen this before?

I also tried installing gnu binutils thinking I'd have better luck with Gnu ld but when I ran ./configure it told me that it couldn't build gas and ld in this platform although it built and installed the rest of the binutils OK.

I'd be much appreciative if anyone could help out here.

Cheers,
