Tru64 UNIX and Oracle 9i Precompilers

We are just configuring an Alpha with Tru64 UNIX v5.1A PK3 and Oracle 9i
software.
We use some legacy COBOL code and therefore use the Oracle Cobol Precompiler
and
the DEC/Compaq/HP Cobol compiler. In checking software support for this
combination,
we noticed that Oracle has apparently "dropped official support" for vendor
Cobol
compilers in most cases in favor of the Microfocus Server Express 2.0.11.
My question is whether any of you have Unix v5.1A, Oracle 9i and use
Cobol? If so,
have you tried using the DEC/Compaq/HP Cobol compiler? If yes, did you have
any
problems with it? If no, have you used the Microfocus product and with what
success?
Any comments, warnings, or related information would be appreciated.
                                Thanks, Jenny Butler
