Hello:

StorageWorks Raid Array 200 Subsystem SWXCRMON sends out the following
message:
"The hard disk at channel 1, target 0 had a miscellaneous error"

The /vat/adm/binary.errlog file does not record any disk error or warning.
>From the swxcrmgr utility, it shows the disk is in 'OPTIMAL' state with one
misc error. There is no parity or hard error. How can I analyze this disk
and interpret the 'misc error' event?

This is a RZ1CB disk, member of a 7-members RAID-5 device.

O/S: DEC4100, Digital UNIX V4.0E (Rev. 1091)
SWXCR version: V1.1.1

Thanks in advance.
