Hi all,

I 'm recently working on installation of TruCluster on Rackmount 2*ES40 and RA3000 box. Both ES40 has 3X-KZPBA-CC (PCI to USCSI Differential Host Adapter) connected to Dual HSZ22 controller.

I did many combinations of connecting SCSI cables but except one all the combinations give scrolling message:
"PKC0.3....polling for devices....."
and doesn't come to console SRM prompt. I have changed the SCSI ID for Host adapter to 6 and the other Host adapter is default 7.

The Cable combination that worked is as follows:
a) Host-0-In to First ES40 Server using BN37-05(VHDCI to VHDCI)+ (BN38-0E)VHDCI to 68HD+(BN21K)Ycable+ (H879)68
    pin Terminator.
b) Host-0-Out to Host-1-In connected with BN37-0E (VHDCI to VHDCI)
c) Host-1-Out to Second ES40 Server using BN37-05(VHDCI to VHDCI)+ VHDCI to 68HD+Ycable+ 68 pinTerminator.

Other best option that didn't work was:
a) To Connect on First ES40 Server, Y cable with Terminator & other end to second ES40 Y cable -- second end Ycable to HSZ22 Host-0-In.
b) Host-0-Out to Host-1-In connected with BN37-0E (VHDCI to VHDCI)

Now please let me know if the First Cable combination I prepared is ok with TRuCluster or is there any other combination I have to follow for Cluster & Dual HSZ22 Controllers?

TIA.

Regards.
