SAN booting problems

Hello,

  I have a strange problem. I have a SAN, hsv110 (vcs version 2), and a
two node cluster. Both machines have their boot disks on the SAN, and
the cluster root/usr/var and initial unix install disk are all on the
SAN. My problem is, if I boot both machines at the same time, they boot
fine… but if one is up first and the other boots second (or gets
rebooted while the other is still running), it hangs and won’t boot. It
eventually fails with an error that it couldn’t open a device on the
fiber channel. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for all of your help.
