Hi managers,
Im running 5.1a and tried to replace my usr_domain with a bigger disk. For
that I did a
addvol /dev/disk/dsk4c usr_domain
and continued with a
rmvol /dev/disk/dsk2c.
The rmvol didnt work because the system claimed that it cant transfer
metadata to dsk4c (I surely have some SCSI problems). I ended up with a
rmvol -f /dev/disk/dsk4c
to get rid of the new disk (a rmvol without the -f flag didnt work;
showfdmn usr_domain showed no blocks used by dsk4c and log to dsk2c). I
applied also a
chvol -A /dev/disk/dsk2c
after that. In /etc/fdmns/usr_domain there is only a link to dsk2c and the
usr file system was acessible (before reboot).
Now after a reboot bcheckrc claims, that usr_domain expects only 0 volumes
but there is one link in /etc/fdmns/usr_domain. If I try a
advscan -r dsk2
it creates a /etc/fdmns/domain_dsk2c but if I try to mount some fileset I
also get the 0 volumes error message.
How can I repair the filesystem?
Best regards,
Rudolf Gabler
