Licenses

I have several licences in my lmf data base for some products. This has
happened due to my in experience with Digital/Compaq licensing.
The lmf output below is typical:
lmf> list
Product Status Users: Total Active

CXXOSF active unlimited
CXXOSF active, multiple unlimited
OSF-BASE active unlimited
OSF-BASE active, multiple unlimited
OSF-USR active unlimited

This results in being unable to run the cxx (c++) compiler . I get the message
Combine CXXOSF ASP-IL-2001SEP03-656 with CXXOSF ASP-IL-1999MAY31-2401
if i try lmf load 0 cxxosf.

I cannot find how to combine these in the manual page for lmf?

Can anyone tell me how to combine these. I have even tried to delete both and
re-apply the new license but lmf just tells me that the request to delete one
is ambigious:

i.e.
# lmf delete cxxosf
Information provided was ambiguous; multiple licenses were found
