Hi all,

I've setup a RIS server on a 2100 alpha with v5.1 A. My install area
contains 4.F image and i was trying boot one of the alpha 1000.
When i said "boot <ethernet_device>" from my ris cleint, it found the boot
server, downloaded the kernel, it goes till it sets up the hostname, then
it comes back to console prompt saying "halted cpu 0". Following are the
msg's it throws

CP - SAVE_TERM route to be called
CP - SAVE_TERM exited with hlt_req=1
halt code = 5

And my /etc/bootptab, contain's the following entry

.ris.dec:hn:vm=rfc1048
.ris0.alpha:tc=.ris.dec:bf=/ris/r0k1:rp="risserver:/ris/r0p1":sa=192.168.x.1
:
risclient:tc=.ris0.alpha:ht=ethernet:ha=0000F820454F:ip=192.168.x.2:

Cheked the /etc/exports, inetd.conf, it seemed to be allright. And my
console version on client is v5.3.

Regds,
Swamy
