We have a new DS20E running 4.0f pk7 that has a problem with tty's.
They are running Intersystems Cache' 3.2.1 and when the application tries to
open a tty, it hangs there until someone goes into kermit at the system
level and accesses the tty. After logging out of Kermit, the application is
able to continue to communicate on that tty. The problem occurs with any
ttys that are newly created, or with all ttys after a reboot.
Has anyone seen a similar issue? None of our other systems with
identical configurations has had this problem, and I'm not sure whether to
call Intersystems or HP.
