                Dear Experts,

We are facing a strange problem. We have a File Domain named
"oracle" under ver5.1, with the File Sets "u111", "u112", "u113" (no
file-set quotas assigned). These are mounted on directories under "/" with
the same names (i.e. on "/u111", "/u112", "/u113"). The output of df -k
shows:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
---
		Filesystem 1024-blocks Used Available
Capacity Mounted on
		oracle#u111 16013104 15948056 0
100% /u111
		oracle#u112 16013104 16
0 100% /u112
		oracle#u113 16013104 13048 0
100% /u113

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
---
As per the above, the file system "/u111" is full.
However, I ran the "du -s" command on each of the mounted
directories and got the following output
		(bytes=output*512):-
		COMMAND OUTPUT CALCULATED AS
		"du -s /u111" - 16059728 [i.e. 8,222,580,736
bytes]
		"du -s /u112" - 64 [i.e.
32,768 bytes]
		"du -s /u113" - 26144 [i.e.
13,385,728 bytes]
Hence, as per the "du" command only 8,235,999,232 bytes are
used. Though I understand there may be a slight variation between bytes
shown by "du -s" and "df -k", the above case shows a whole 8GB missing!!!
Any comments on why this could be happening please? Would
sincerely appreciate your assessment. Thanks.
