Actually I meant to say "rebuilt the kernel". We were able to get the both
nodes up and running after restoring the vmunix to the previous version. I
still can't understand why one node didn't run from the new vmunix. The
only difference between the machines is that one has 3 DLT tape drives
connected to it. I rebuilt the kernal, would it have made a difference from
which node I initiated the doconfig from? Also, where do I stand patchkit
wise? Obviously new files were installed on the system, yet I'm running a
previous kernel...
Original message...
Just got through installing Tru64 5.1a patchkit4 on a DS20 cluster.
Everything went fine until I went to rebuild the cluster. When I rebooted,
one of the nodes came up fine, the other node returns the following last few
lines:
ata1 at pci0 slot205 (slot 5, function 2)
ata1: CYPRESS 82C693
CP - SAVE_TERM routine to be called
CP - SAVE_TERM exited with hlt_req = 1, r0 = 00000000.00000000
Halted CPU0
halt code = 5
HALT instruction executed
PC = fffffc0000cde700
Can anyone tell me what is causing this and how I can correct it?
