Summary: /sbin/ifconfig

Most people advised me to run bcheckrc and mount /usr. This
was not an option since I was recovering from a crash and
had no /usr. I did try to configure the network device to
be able to run a remove restore.

The problem is caused by a bug that will be fixed in the next patch kit
