1) The 'fh3tovp: bad length' error is definitely an NFS error. It was
confirmed when I looked in the logs and found the identical error on
both systems at the identical times. The error is periodic but not
frequent and has not caused any specific problems. It could be the
result of an old mount which was not cleared properly. I will be
checking that and also checking for any NFS patches.
2) The OSF-USR license expired in the messages log was due to an old
terminated license which had expired but not been removed. This was
easily fixed by using the 'lmf list' command to find the terminated
license then the 'lmf delete' command to remove it.
