No compression after upgrading to V5.1B

We were using QUANTUM DLT8000 with Legato networker server on V5.1 and =
it worked fine. I upgraded the DS10 to V5.1B using installupdate and =
applied patchkit 2. Now the tapes don't seem to be running in compressed =
mode anymore. We are using tapexx_d1 device files under networker.

Any ideas?
