I managed to get the system up and running again -- boot -fl s -fi
genvmunix or something booted it with the generic kernel, I managed to
swap the pre-patch kernel with the new broken kernel and it booted smoothly.
One question I'd like to ask the mailing list, could you give me an idea
on what exactly broke the system during the re-configure of the kernel ?
Also what are the tips/tricks on reconfiguring the kernel ? I've got
some Tru64 books but they really don't go as in-depth as I would like it.
Thanks again.
