Hello,
Thanks for the prompt and immediate response from Steve Copper, Mohamed
Ahmed,Russ Schaefer and obvious Dr. Tom Blinn.
cpu_enabled was set to 1. After changing it to 3, we could see both cpus.

Amit

Subject: Problem with 2nd CPU
Hello Managers,
We have upgraded our 2 node (DS20E) cluster from 1GB RAM and 1 CPU
to 4GB RAM and 2 CPU each.
We did following:
Both machines were having KN310 CPU. We have replaced the primary CPU
and also added the 2nd CPU with CPU (KN311-BB).
We changed the setting of switch on board and made SW3 MLB CPU switch s6 to
on.
One machine shows both cpu from the console (show cpu), while
other shows only one CPU.
To test the cpu, we have swapped the CPU positions.
But in both cases, the CPU on the 2nd slot is not identified and
show config shows only the primary CPU (cpu0).
Then we have upgraded the console firmware to V6.6, but no luck.
So I am looking for some help or procedure to check, why system is not
detecting the 2nd CPU.
Regards,
Amit
