This morning I attempted to upgrade an ES40 from V4.0F to V4.0G (on the way
to V5.1B-1) using 'installupdate -i <cdrom device>'. The box has LSM root
mirrors (and I created a third mirror to a disk hanging off an HSZ80
controller just incase I have to rollback - this disk has been physically
removed from the system).
All appeared to go well...

Until this part,

where all kernel options were selected. At this point the following
"Working..." messages timestamped in increments of 2 minutes were observed
for the next three hours until we powercycled the box.

Any help would be immensely appreciated.
