Dear Managers ,

This is regqrding the logging of scsi timeout errors

  on a HSG80 (MA8000) based storage .

A Win2k cluster accesses HSG80 based LUNs ,however
the cluster members keep logging event ids 9,11 & 15

which are related to SCSI adapter timeouts , and
driver /firmware corruptions .
We have seen most of the microsoft advisories which
state that , HBA drivers, Firmware , registry
settings , cabling faults , and SCSI termination as
  possible causes .

Could the SAN switch and HSG80 controller have any
role in these event id's being logged ?

  regards

  Peter
