Is this a HW error or SW error? Can I recover this data?
I can not use disklabel command on this disk? (not getting any
   prompt back)

If the Disk is defect can I use a SCSI disk from other vendor?
(SCSI disks used in PC's) It is 9GB disk.

With the command scu sho edt I see
