Hello Managers,
Well talk about simple solutions ( or just simple administrators ).
Since sendmail was not finding libldapssl40.so, I should have just checked
another system to see where it was located. I did just that and copied to
the system in question (into /usr/shlib ).
Sendmail is now working fine....
As was suggested by some of the people who responded, it may have been
deleted when I removed other subsets.
Thanks to all who replied.

Hello Managers,
On a T64 v5.1A, patch kit 6, I have a problem when sendmail starts. I
receive a message from loader indicating that library "libldapssl40.so"
cannot be mapped. Sendmail fails to start.
I had had a problem on this system a few months ago concerning the single
sign on and removed the associated subsets. I don't know if this is related
to that problem or those subsets.
This is the shipped version of sendmail.
The exact error is:
/usr/sbin/sendmail: /sbin/loader: Fatal Error: Cannot map library
libldapssl40.so
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
John
