Thanks for all the replies.

Bill Kirk provided the entries that I needed to include in fstab. I had to
shut both machines down and then boot them up to get everything setup.

These are the entries I had to include in fstab:

node1tmp_dmn#tmp /cluster/members/member1/tmp advfs
rw,server=node1,server_only 1 2
node2tmp_dmn#tmp /cluster/members/member2/tmp advfs
rw,server=node2,server_only 1 2

Original question:

I just ran into a problem with my /tmp area on a 51b cluster and I was
wondering if any one has a fix. I had my tmp's mounted on local disks
on each member like the cluster admin manual chpt. 11 mentions. Then I had
a hardware failure on one of the local disks so I moved my tmp disks out to
the
shared bus, off an XP128, and then I ran into problems. Seems that if tmp is
on
the shared bus if one member goes down the other member will mount it. Using
cfsmgr I can see it mounted on the other member, but it was unassigned.
When the boot member came back up it couldn't mount tmp and it panic'd.

Is there a way to have tmp on the shared disks, but be only accessible
by one member? I'm using an XP128 so I can't define the connections like
you can on the HSG80's.
