This was my primary computer for a year or so, assembled from second-hand parts. It replaced a 166Mhz IBM PC 300GL sometime in late 2001 or early 2002 and was replaced by the Pentium 3 PC some time in 2003.
The motherboard and CPU were purchased second-hand though where from was not recorded and is now forgotten. Some other parts were purchased new from DSE, while others were salvaged from my parents old PC (which was no longer working at the time) or were spare at the time.
For at least a year it was my primary computer used for school work, projects and games. It traveled to a few LAN parties as was the style at the time, with the main games being CounterStrike, Unreal (with the Serpentine mod), Unreal Tournament and Total Annihilation. It was the first of my computers capable of playing these games acceptably and so the first used at a LAN party. During this time it ran Windows 2000 at first, and later Windows XP Home Edition.
During its entire time as my primary computer it was already an obsolete computer and it struggled to run many games. As a result of this and how it came into existence, the original "computers & parts" badge (whatever company originally built a PC using this particular AT case) was "altered" to instead say "computer parts".

The ATI Rage Pro that's currently in this machine was bought new for it from DSE and later replaced with the TNT2 which I got second-hand from somewhere.
When a second-hand Slot 1 motherboard and 533MHz Coppermine Penitum 3 CPU were purchased sometime in 2003, this computer was retired from regular use with some of its parts going to that "new" Pentium 3 computer. In particular the TNT2 went to the Pentium 3, and this machine got its old ATI card back.
In "retirement" it was occasionally used for imaging floppy disks; I'm not sure if this is when the 5.25" floppy drive was installed, or if it was in there when it was my primary computer.
It has been in storage since at least April 2013 if not earlier.
In storage, condition unknown.
This machine has not yet been through inventory and its current state is unknown.
This machine has not been inventoried yet.
