This was my first new PC and was purchased in September 2004 while in high school (6th form). It replaced a fleet of various second-hand cobbled together PCs I'd spread my computing work over up until that time. After nearly five years of service it was retired and placed into storage in November 2009, replaced with a new Core i7-860 PC.
While in use it traveled to a number of LAN parties, the last of my computers to regularly do so. By the time it was replaced LAN parties were a very rare occurrence with its successor only going to maybe two or three over its 13-year lifetime.
