The DKDRIVER, GKDRIVER, and MKDRIVER drivers permit more than oneIO$_DIAGNOSE operation to be active (in the start I/O routine) onlywhen all active operations have the S2DGB$V_AUTOSENSE flag equal to 1.Upon encountering the first IO$_DIAGNOSE with S2DGB$V_AUTOSENSE equalto 0, the class driver will apply the restrictions described in theprevious paragraph.

Tables

This appendix includes tables for the DEC Multinational character setand for terminal escape sequences and modes.

C.1 DEC Multinational Character Set

Table C-1 lists the DEC Multinational character set. The DECMultinational character set is an 8-bit character set with 256characters. The first 128 characters in the set correspond to the ASCIIcharacter set. The VAX EDT Reference Manual lists the graphics for thesecharacters and describes how to enter them from various types ofterminals.
