Name Mapping Dialog: Mapping Access Names
The parameters you specified in the NAME MAPPING section
of the Access Server Configuration Worksheet are configured in the Name
Mapping dialog box
(Figure 4-3). Click on the Name Mapping
tab to display this dialog box.

You can define one or more old-style LU names, depending
on how you planned to configure your network and how the existing DECnet
SNA Gateway is configured. An Old-Style Name entry must be saved (by pressing
OK after the appropriate parameters are entered) before you can create
another one.
For each Old-Style Name you define, use the configuration
information from the Configuration Worksheet to fill in the parameters,
as follows:
-
Specify at a minimum either one LU Name (which may be an LU pool) or one
Base Name; you may specify one of each.
-
If you specify a Base Name, you must also choose the Base Name Radix (Decimal
or Hexadecimal). The Base Name Radix is not used if there is no Base Name
specified.
See Chapter 5 of the Installation & Configuration
Guide for specific and detailed information on using the Name Mapping
dialog box.
