DEClaser 3500 and 5100 printers w/TCP/IP

The Question is: 


We are moving to a fully TCP/IP based network but have several
DEClaser 3500 and 5100 printers in this network.
How can we connect these printers over TCP/IP and still
keep on using DCPS print symbiont.

The Answer is: 

There is currently no way, using Digital products, to use DCPS to
print to DEClaser 3500 and 5100 printers via TCP/IP.  To use TCP/IP to
print to these printers, you must use the TELNET symbiont, which is
part of TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS.

If you are using TGV's Multinet product, their latest release
supposedly has a feature that allows DCPS to speak to a LAT-like
virtual device which then uses a TCP/IP connection to the printer.
