Is it possible to share files over a TCP/IP network by
making a "symbolic link" of sorts?
I would like to do the equivalent of a NFS (remote)
mount of a drive that is located a few miles away.
Both machines have UCX enabled and are running
OpenVMS 6.1.
We have a file that is 1.5 Gigs big and do not want to
have to transfer it (via FTP or whatever) to the other
4 VAXes in our organizations. Each system should be
able to read/write to the file transparently. (ie They would
address the file as DISKx:[ORACLE]database.dbs
no matter where is)
Thanks in advance
