MAIL SET COPY_SELF

The Question is:

Problems with SET COPY_SELF:

Hello !

I have a problem with the SET COPY_SELF command in the
MAIL program. I have an Alpha workstation running AXP
OpenVMS 6.1 operating system and UCX version 3.3.
When some users (not all of them), execute SET COPY_SELF
in the MAIL program and they send a message, the program
show the message. The example is for a user who has
username JRLGMP:

Invalid user specification ':[JRLGMP]'
Do you want to send anyway (Y/N, defaut is N)? Y

Then, it sends the message to the destination, but it does
not send the copy to the sender !
Can you help to me, please ?
Regards,

The Answer is:

Can one send mail to said user?

I suspect there is a logical name defined for JRLGMP that
translate to a file specification string.

Perform a $SHOW LOG JRLGMP /FULL while logged in as the
user with the problem. It may not be possible to have
both the logical and copy_self active at the same time.
I'm afraid the logical name will have to to be changed
to get COPY_SELF to work. Perhpas MAIL can alway be used
from a specific (sub)process where the logical does not
    get in the way?
