Backup: Restore single file

The Question is:

We are running DEC LanWorks for Macintosh on VMS V5.5-2
using MSAF$SERVER V1.1 and one of are disk volume had more
than one BAD block in a file called:

   [.MSAF$VOLINFO]MSAF$ICON.DAT

Is there anyway to rebuild it? Without restore an IMAGE
backup from last week. The manual we have "V1.0" states on
page 5-2 that, "Contains the mapping between a Macintosh
type and creator and its icon.".

The Answer is: 

     You can restore that file from your image backup without having to
    restore everything. Something like:

    $ BACKUP saveset/SAVE/SELECT=[.MSAF$VOLINFO]MSAF$ICON.DAT -
    	[.MSAF$VOLINFO]MSAF$ICON.DAT
