DECnet: DE450 and OpenVMS V6.2

The Question is: 

I have an Alpha 250 4/266 running OVMS 6.2.

I cannot get a DE450 ethernet card to operate with this version of VMS.

It works ok with OVMS 7.0 but that is no use to me as Oracle is not
available yet for 7.0

I cannot use the built-in ethernet card as I need AUI (thick enet).

I have applied patch ALPBOOT03 but that changes nothing.

Can you help ?

The Answer is: 

    It should work fine.  However, you don't provide error messages or a
    description of the misbehavior.  You will need to perform more in depth
    torubleshooting.
