When I start a windowed program, a process named
VUE$loginame_x is started, where x is a sequence number.
After I finish, I terminate in the normal way by selecting
EXIT under the FILE menu. The window closes, but the process
VUE$loginame_x remains in memory. It can be terminated
only by STOP/ID=Pid. I must do this, else the next
windowed program will run erratically. Why doesn't the
EXIT command remove the process? How can I change things
to make it do so?
If this is in the FAQ, I'll eat my hat!
