What is full name

The Question is: 

Hello,

I have a customer looking for information regarding DataRetrieve
and VAX VMS. Specifically, the customer would like to know
what "fullname service" means. In VTX IR, DataRetrieve vers
7.1 indicates one requires at least version 5.3 of VAX VMS
unless the customer is looking for "fullname support" in
which case the customer requires VAX VMS version 6.1.

I have talked to RSS and they have been unable to find the
"meaning" of fullname support. Unfortunately, the product
manager is out of the country until Monday, and my cust needs
an answer ASAP.

The Answer is: 

"Fullname support" relates to DECnet/OSI, an optional product, and its
ability to use node names longer than six characters.
