1st Place - UnWheel Version 2

UnWheel is a driving modification for Unreal Tournament 2003/2004 with a focus on fun driving. Rather than just racing, many different vehicle-based gametypes are on offer, giving the player an assortment of different styles of play and environments in which to drive.

2nd Place - Marble Mania 2003

Marble Mania 2003 takes the original gameplay idea of the classic Marble Madness and introduces it in new settings, with new enemies, in new levels, with new effects, and including new ways of playing. With different multiplayer gametypes (such as Tag and Elimination), and extensive use of the Karma physics engine, players roll their physics accurate and real-time reflective spheres around abstract levels, either trying to not be tagged, trying to bump off enemy marbles, or simply trying to avoid Kansas-sized tornados that move with such a realistic wavering, you might catch yourself rolling near one just to watch it move. Boasting the least amount of UT2003 code reused (less than 50 lines), MM2k3 is built right on top of the core Unreal engine, making it as true a Total Conversion as a mod can be.

3rd Place - Anomaly

We used the Unreal Tournament engine to rapidly prototype a game concept we had in mind - and Anomaly was born. The RS team draws deep inspiration from high speed racing classics as well as forgotten game design formulae in the creation of Anomaly.
4th Place - Karma'ed

This is the a straight conversoion of Porasturvat within UT2003. With Unreal's great graphics engine I was able to accomplish not only Porasturvat's basic idea but in a way which ran very fast, looked good and allowed customability in terms of allowing model makers to play with their creations as well as allowing mappers to create their own scenes.

5th Place - Law Dogs

I want to thank Nvidia and Epic for giving us the opportunity to participate in this great contest. All the work being done in this project is being done by many great people from all over the Unreal community . Want to also congratulate Ruz for the wonderful characters he's done for LawDogs and Ian who did an amazing job at animating them and bringing them alive. Mr. Evil has done magnificent job with the karma physics which enabled us to feature shootable hats for the characters. Once again conrats to the whole team and community supporters for making this happen. For the next phase we hope to bring you more great characters and fun!
