Excessive is an over-the-top mod that makes all the weapons super-powerful, turns off self-damage, gives all the players regenerating health and ammo, and makes every game into a wild and crazy frag-fest! In the fast and furious bloodfest that is Excessive, it's not about staying alive; it's about taking as many people as possible out with you.

3rd Place - Remote Strike Weapon Mod

Remote Strike is a weapons mutator for UT2003. It sets out to completely change the combat experience to a full set of 11 semi realistic weapons from riot shotguns to long range sniper rifles. It was designed as a mutator rather than a mod as players can pick and choose where how and what weapons they use in any gametype/map they want. I created the mutator as I loved the UT2003/4 game experience but I just didnt like the slow futuristic weapons.

An eclectic collection of weapons from the familiar minigun-style Fyrian Cannon to the arcane CFX and the Sentinel: a placeable, upgradeable automatic cannon.

5th Place - Systemic

Systemic is a mutator that mixes large mechs (called Cygens) into regular UT2003 combat. These 20-foot-tall mechs are intended to bring heavy support into team games, and add a new twist to deathmatches as well. Cygens are designed to be a powerful and menacing, complete with atmospheric effects such as heavy footsteps, and kicking up dust clouds when they crash to the ground. They are acquired by grunts (non-Cygen) by stepping onto platforms that spawn randomly throughout the level.
