History and other comments

This computer was controlling a "CT" (Computer Tomograph) the years 1985 - 2003, which means 18 years in service! Are you impressed? I am. There are probably quite many PDP-11's from the 80's and the 70's out there, still in service.

For the ones in the process of getting a PDP computer similar to this: It's big. It's heavy. It's noisy. I mean NOISY. Like the sound of at least 3 vacuum cleaners at the same time. But I have to admit, it's one of the coolest pieces of hardware I have. It's a real PDP.

For the ones that don't know what a PDP is: this is like the computers world's dinosaurus!
