Alpha Firmware
Alpha Systems ship with all diagnostics (Firmware) on board.
Customers may purchase on an as needed basis the latest Firmware Version.
Compaq Assisted Services offers an annual subscription update service
for the Alpha System Firmware, which must be purchased each year.
This subscription service will keep your Firmware current.
Presently, these Firmware updates are quarterly; i.e., customers
will receive four updates per year. The update schedule may change in the
future. The Firmware is available under a Software Replication
License (SRL) and there is no associated license validation process.
