I am new at OSF/1 system administration and I need to find out if there is a
way to change the login shell for the root user and other users as well; once
an initial shell was defined when the user account was created. I modified
the /etc/passwd file to reflect the new shell, however, the new shell was not
invoked when the user logged back in after the modification was made. Am I
missing something else in order for the new shell to be invoked? On the
system is OSF/1 v1.3
Thanks in advance.
