When I run decsound I get the error message
DIVA error detected: assignment failed
What's the DVIA means?
What's causing this error?
the same error message I have got before and after starting the mmeserver.
here is the contents of ~/.decsound_resources
DECsoundEditor.OutputChannel 1
DECsoundEditor.MaxRecordLength 180
DECsoundEditor.OutputGain 50
No changes to /usr/lib/mme/system.ini
This on Alpha3000/300 running OSF/1v2.1
Is there a special hardware I must have to record/playback sounds using decsound?
