Dear managers:
We are trying to examine a 1200x1200 dpi DEClaser5100 network Postscript
printer which will be primarily used by our Alpha 3000/400 running
OSF/1 3.0 to print out grayscale images. We were not provided with any
floppies or manuals. I am told there is suppose to be print drivers
for the Alpha to install the ip address on the printer. Could someone
tell me the scoop on this?
We will purchase this printer if we like the speed of it printing a
single screen greyscale image. We purchased it through an external
reseller and you would believe what hell I have gone through to get
floppies which nobody seems to have or know about:( I've called the
printer line, talk to our local printer person, kept in contact with
our local reseller, etc. This has been going off and on since April.
Any help is appreciated!
