Lotsa little processes...

Hello all,

We are looking at using Samba to provide file services for about 350
PCs. From the looks of it, those 350 PCs will be connected to our Alpha
2100 A500MP simultaneously, but maybe 50 will be active at any given time.
I'm presently poring through the System Administration guide, but was
wondering if anyone has set up their system to handle this kind of load.

My main area of concern is getting the kernel configured to handle this
level of load. Any suggestions in this area would be greatly
appreciated...

                Thanks,

                        Ed
