Hi managers,

Some questions about an upgrade of a 2100 A500MP and password ageing:

1. We plan to upgrade our 2100 A500MP server to 3.0. The reason we cannot
upgrade to 3.2 is that the machine runs Ingres who only have a release for
3.0 (maybe someone can tell me if Ingres' 3.0 version runs on 3.2 together
with the abovementioned hardware ??). The Release Notes for 2100 servers
state that the revision levels for rz26 disks must be at level 392 ->.
'scu' tells me that all the rz26es are at the T386 level. Is it anyway safe
to upgrade or do I need to rise the rev. level on the disks ? If the latter
is true, where can I get hold of info/sw needed to upgrade the rev. level ?
Is all the necessary patches for 3.0 included on the May -95 ECO CDs or do
I need to use ECO CDs released earlier (which ones) ?

2. Is password ageing implemented in DEC Unix (not Enhanced/C2 security or
NIS), and if it is, how do I configure the system to utilize password
ageing ??
