SUMMARY - Initial login message

*sigh* This is getting to be the same old story. Lots of people
suggested modifying the default entry in gettydefs and it DOES work for
'telnet' connections. Unfortunately, LAT doesn't seem to go anywhere
near gettydefs and, as such, this solution doesn't work. Until I hear
anything different I guess we're going to have to bite the bullet and
leave it "as is". Thanks to everyone who responded.
