I am currently running a number of 3000/300s at firmware rev 2.4 and
OSF/1 v2.0 (hey, times are tough!). Time for the big jump. But first I
thought I'd check with the experts...
1) Is there any known problems going from fw 2.4 to 6.2?
2) Will I be able to run OSF/1 v2.0 on fw 6.2 if I have to
back-paddle in a hurry? If not, can I downgrade again to a lower
version?
3) Will my old version of Pathworks be reinstallable (V5.0) on
Digital UNIX 3.2c?
Thanks in advance. I have a call in to DEC but they could be awhile
trying to determine if firmware is a hardware or software call ;) and to
be honest I trust this list more!
