Hi Digital UNIX admin's, DEC Support People,
I have two types of ALPHA Workstation:
A) - DEC 3000 Model 300 AXP
B) - DEC 3000 Model 600 AXP
In the Model 300 all Slots for memory are occopied with 8-megabyte memory modules.
Because we want some more memory for this maschine we bought two 32-megabyte modules.
Now my question:
Is it possible to transfer the free 8-megabyte memory modules from the Model 300
into the Model 600?
It would be very nice if someone can give a definitive answer.
I'll summarize.
Norbert
