Anyone know how to set 1280x1024 resolution on an Alpha-Station 200 4/166
with a 9FX Vision 330 (PCI) Graphics Option card? The monitor is a
Digital VRC21-HX Multi-Scanning monitor, and the OS is DUX 3.2d.
According to the manual you append to a line in:

        /var/X11/xdm/Xservers

For example:

        :0 local /usr/bin/X11/X -nice -screen0 1280 -vsync 72

We tried it, and xdm no longer liked us (ie, it dumped us back to the pretty
blue text-only mode).
I'll summarize if this hasn't been answered 20 times before!

Thanks,

Jason
