It looks like the uugetty processes aren't running. I have tried to get them
to kick off again with a:
# kill -HUP 1
but that didn't help. When I run the uugety command for ttyd0 "by hand"
> u0:23:respawn:/usr/lib/uucp/uugetty -t 30 ttyd0 M9600 #UUCP
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Then I do get a "login:" prompt, but the terminal remains half pointed to the
shell from which I ran uugetty, and half pointed to ttyd0. What do I do to
tell init to re-read the inittab and to start processes, or what's the correct
way to invoke this command "by hand"?
Looking forward to a response; my uucp queues are filling up...
