To All the DEC UNIX Pros:

I am having a problem which does not seem to interfer with mail,or any of my
other network utilities, but it is worrying me a lot. I would really like to
know how to fix this warning.

Every day or so the following message appears on my dxconsole:

physio1 vmunix:arp:illegal IP address 255.255.255.255 is used by hardward
address 02-60-8C-7D-E9-5D!

PHYSIO1 is the vmunix host name for this machine. This is a class B network
with a netmask of 255.255.0.0. Any suggestions as to how I might find the
source of this problem and correct it would be most welcome.

Thanks and have a nice day!
