My question was related to information about /usr/field executables.
Many thanks to:

Seela (seela.balkissoon_at_sheridan.on.ca)
Seela suggested me to check the complementary CD (no luck there)
Chris sent these useful information:

Javier,
here is some info. i am not sure where we picked it up so
i wouldn't just post it in your summary before verifying it.

/usr/field/advscan
This command determines which partitions on a disk are part of
an AdvFS file domain. It's extremely useful in rebuilding the
/etc/fdmns directory. This is the directory that contains info
about the AdvFS file domains on a system.
Example: % /usr/field/advscan rz1
/usr/field/vchkdir
This is an AdvFS directory structure checker and fixer. It verifies
that the directory structure is correct and that all directory
entries have a valid file (tag) and that all files (tags) have a
directory entry.
Example: % /usr/field/vchkdir /usr
/usr/field/msfsck
msfsck is the AdvFS bitfile-subsystem metadata structure checker.
It verifies low-level meta-structures. Note, when using this
command you must be in the same directory as the .tags file.
This is the mount point for the fileset.
Example: % /usr/field/msfsck usr_domain usr
