Dig is include with BIND 4.9.3, location:

        ftp://ftp.vix.com/pub/bind/release/4.9.3/bind-4.9.3-REL.tar.gz
        ftp://ftp.vix.com/pub/bind/release/4.9.3/Patch1

The present version can be patched as follows:


        If you want to do 2.0, you will need to replace all cases of "long"
        and "u_long" with "int" and u_int", respectively. I don't THINK I had
        to do anything else.
