NIS on Alpha not secure -VS- NIS plus on SUN

Hello managers,

   Was wondering if you had any comments on NIS on the Alpha platform
   VS the SUN platform. My understanding is that the NIS on the Alpha
   is prone to break-ins (ypcat etc...)
